Sara Fishko and WNYC, in collaboration with partners at the Center for Documentary Studies (CDS) at Duke University, have built a radio series from the tapes of loft life discovered in W. Eugene Smith’s vast archive.
The series premieres on WNYC during Morning Edition on November 16, 2009. The series coordinates with The Jazz Loft Project book (published November 24) by Sam Stephenson of the CDS. One episode will be heard each day for 10 days. See full on air schedule.
