Great Show... thank you so much. Long time fan of CB's genius.

I soooo appreciate the music that Carla Bley has chosen for this evenings show. She is so eloquent and correct on her comments about Ornette--BTW the London festival is the Meltdown Festival. The thing that has always struck me is that yes, Ornette and company are not playing on the changes and this is new and different, but structurally they still are playing bebop--head-solos-head. And this makes so clear their connection to what has just happened. I'd love to hear what she has to say about Cecil Taylor. Thank you for this show.
