Ear to Ear: John Zorn
A fearless protagonist, John Zorn is renowned for his uncompromising music and resolute character — both of which have greatly influenced the progressive music scene. The multi-dimensional composer, performer, and improviser joins host David Garland to share samples from his mammoth music collection, and to talk about his most recent collaboration with American avant-garde playwright Richard Forman, entitled "Astronome: A Night at the Opera."

Evening music has some very interesting music. I sometimes wish to hear more, but on this one I cannot spell the name. Show: 1-29-09, name sounds like Eva Etopa? Eva Betova? I don't see her name on the playlist, but i heard it mentioned.
Help!
Thanks, jg
You probably mean composer/vocalist/violinist Iva Bittová. David Garland interviewed her for an episode of Ear to Ear in 2007:

Hey-Ho!
How loud is it?
The opera at Ontological Theatre-does my delicate eared lil diva need her ear plugs?
Did you see THe War on Mu at the Anthology? A real fine hoot!
Mr. Zorn,
As an aspiring composer,I wonder what methods you use when confronted with musical writers block? Also when you were composing your "game pieces" when you were first starting out, did you have hesitations in using tonality in your music? How did using tonality evolve in your compositional process? A lot of questions, I know, but if I were to ask anyone it would be you.
Gratefully,
Josiah
Mr. Zorn,
