Your music seems to have a very athletic cadence to it - am I wrong in hearing the sound of 'running' in your work?

    Great stuff!

Do you know of Anders Savano?

He was my saxophone teacher in high school. He hails from Madison, WI. I believe he plays with Mr. Braxton on occasion in Chicago. (Don't quote me on that)

Anders has an album called Lines and Spaces with a tribute to AB where he plays a plunger-hose-ophone, an instrument of his own invention. Check it out.

Could you say a bit more about staying creative outside of "institutions?" in the early 1970's i had an improvisational dance company that worked with improvisional musicians like rashid ali, noah howard & others. Has anything kept that Alternative Universe alive? where artists taught & learned from each other... outside of "institutions"... sounds like your own family has created such a universe.

    Space is the Place...

At the 10 PM hour you played a piece by Arturo Marquez. Could you kindly give me the name of the composition and the correct spelling of the composers name. It was wonderful.

Thanks for the Brubeck piece about Las Posadas. BTW, tomorrow Las Posadas will be featured at the Museum of the City of New York: http://www.mcny.org/public-programs/all/Posadas-y-Pastorelas%20.html.
