This program is embarrassing. Aside from looking at the contributions of Sam Barber and Joh Adams, the choices of "contemporary" music do not reflect the divirsity of interesting works that could be examined in a forum like this. The commentary from both hosts is certainly not productive and does not pass muster as a critical evaluation of vocal technique. What a shame that an interesting opportunity could be squandered so.
