Over the last several years, I have several times considered becoming a member. However, you keep cutting back on music broadcasting, and introducing more talk shows. It wasn't enough that you reduced music broadcasting to evening hours -- now you're replacing the remaining music broadcasts with "talk about music." That's talk, not music. This year's American Music Festival is a case in point: when I tune in, I hear short snippets of music, soon interrupted for the sake of inane chatter. If I contributed now, I'd feel that I was encouraging you in your ongoing destruction of a great New York musical institution.
