love leonard cohen, love david garland - thanks david for this evening music.
As all of us here, of course I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. And I just wanted to give a tip of the hat to David G. for taking us out of it perfectly - by his choice of material afterward. Always enjoy David's shows - and tonight had a special treat within.
Ruth - you're quite forgiven. :) Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. Knockout!
apologies for being grumpy earlier: FABULOUS
whether or not it's the whole concert...
transformative.
Me too.

May 16-17! Hope to see you there, Cynthia! :)
I recall a line from his book "Beautiful Losers" which I read when maybe I was 15. It may not be verbatim, but Naomi was kissing him all over: "Naomi, Naomi! Can't you see where all my skin is pointing?"
OK. I'll shut up now. Somebody pick me up a ticket!

Sorry I am beside myself! Wish I had better than a kitchen radio.
Changed my plans, to stay home Saturday evening to hear the WHOLE concert... only to learn, at 8pm, that it is the same selection as available online. Woulda been nice to know in advance...
Gawd if I was rich I'd pay him for every nickel his manager? ripped him off for.
Radio City? When? What?
Living for this. Can't wait! Hope the kid stays out!
Loving all of these comments. My husband and I are big Leonard fans and are all set up to listen, with new speakers hooked up to my laptop. BTW, Leonard Cohen will be at Radio City in May, folks, but it is indeed pricey. This is a great recession-era substitute. Enjoy, everyone!
Yes, is this the entire concert. I've enjoyed the podcast but would like to know if I should tune in on Saturday night.
ex-new yorker...Long time Leonard Lover...Was coming to Beacon Theater concert until I found out what the tickets cost. This broadcast is the next best thing..thanks
Only 7 comments? I hope it is only the 8 of us clicking away on Monday when tickets for Mr Cohen at Radio City go on sale to the non_Amex owning hoi poli.
Ya think we're excited? :-)
will this be archived for future listening?
Several years ago, there was a Leonard Cohen tribute concert in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. I've searched numerous times to see whether THAT concert was ever recorded or put up for sale. Any ideas?
Any chance this will be a podcast??
super cool and super impressed you are running the Leonard Cohen concert.
I have a Bat Mitzvah that night when might it be run again?
Years ago a Leonard Cohen wrote a beasutiful bood aobut an elderly man called "Coat Upon a Stick" and I have often wondered if this is the same Leonard Cohen. could he or anyone let me know.
I am wondering if this is the entire concert or selections from the concert already available on the NPR website with other fabulous concerts by amazing artists.
