hey terrance-last time i left a comment it was in your first or second week and i was disturbed by your playing only one movement of shaker loops-no worries-your intelligent programing has won me over during the year-great to hear "christian zeal and activity" on the radio while driving through snowy brooklyn tonight-tis my favorite adams-guess it appeals to us jazz guys for some reason ( hi eli!); i did a kind of jazz homage to the piece on the last record of my band shakers n' bakers called "limber zeal", but the underlying tune was arvo part's spiegel im spiegel; also thanks to you for letting me know about the passing of the great genius lukas foss whose work i love dearly ( esp., phorion and time cycle!!!!); all best (i)

Don't know the source for John Adams piece but it sure was beautiful. And, did James P. start on the same chord that you faded Adams down on? What a perfect segue! So terrific to hear James P. - who seems to be a long lost great American Composer - given a spin in his rightful place. Keep swingin' brother!
thanks
