Hi Missy,
I'm sitting here working on a children's sketch and your music is absolutely delighting me as I draw.
I write poetry for children and I wonder if you might consider putting some of my verse to music? May I send you a few pieces and you can see for yourself if you might be interested? Many of my poems are humorous and I think you have just the right innovative and happy touch.

Even though you compose now, not 50 or 100 yrs ago, can you speak to what aspects of music composition technology has helped? Hindered?
How do you and other young composers you may talk to about this, feel about the idea of writing for film or other visual media? Is it something that
interests you at all?
If not, would you do it to "pay the bills"?
It's all so beautiful! I've never heard anything like any of these pieces, and I love them all. I'm a little speechless...
