Also tonight, we hear John Adams' Pulitzer Prize-winning "On the Transmigration of Souls," commissioned by the New York Philharmonic to mark the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Incorporating the words of those left behind (from posters hung around ground zero), Adams creates what he calls a "memory space... where you can go and be alone with your thoughts and emotions."
