"Mack the Knife" aside, Weill's "Foxtrot Potpourri" is one of the most frequently heard excerpts from his famous collaboration with Berthold Brecht, "The Threepenny Opera." We hear it in a lively dance band arrangement from H.K. Gruber and the Palast Orchestra, included on the 2001 album Kurt Weill: Life, Love, & Laughter.
