Raised by Eastern European Jews in the jungles of Nicaragua, composer Michael Gordon was born to mix genres. Tonight, Gordon channels the power of heavy metal in his high-voltage chamber piece, AC/DC.

AC/DC

AC/DC is the title track on a recent release from Italian new music ensemble Sentieri selvaggi (which translates to "wild paths," by the way). Other selections from the album featured tonight include "Hiawatha" by Laurie Anderson and Filippo Del Corno's "L'uomo armato."
