Paola Prestini's music and arrangements have been performed by
VisionIntoArt, the Kronos Quartet, Prism Quartet, Haydn Orchestra,
and ensembles and soloists throughout the U.S and abroad from Lincoln
Center and BAM (the Brooklyn Academy of Music) in New York City to
Svetlanov Hall in Moscow, Russia, and from the Phillips Collection in
Washington, D.C., to Teatro Manzoni, in Milano, Italy. She has
composed scores for numerous films that have garnered awards from the
Sundance Film Festival and the Film Festival at Austin. A graduate of
the Juilliard School, Prestini has been the recipient of numerous
awards from organizations such as American Society for Composers and
Publishers (ASCAP), the American Music Center, the Lower Manhattan
Cultural Council, and New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).
