A celebrated master of the pat waing, or Burmese Drum Circle, Kyaw Kyaw Naing has composed several film soundtracks — and famously performed live at Burma's traditional kickboxing tournaments. Kyaw Kyaw brings his ancient drumming technique to the edge of the 21st century in tonight's featured piece, his first collaboration with Western Musicians.
