Failure of Taft-Hartley, immigration reform, housing, educational programs. Open convention for the next election. Impact of segregation and the polio vaccine in the next campaign. Response to the comments Harris Klein made on his visit to the CPC. The issue in 1956 will be Republicanism because the president is a Republican; the president can't be separated from his party.
