Questions:
There is no trend away from mass transportation. Subway riding is down. Changes in fares, combination fares. Advocates for the holding of the fare at current level. By July 1, the NYC Transit Authority must submit a plan to the Board of Estimate about buses. Second Avenue subway is no longer under consideration. Bankrupt bus lines subsidized by the city. Mike Quill's role in the removal of the Tranit Authority. Times Square shuttle trains.
