Tom Kean Jr. is the son of Thomas Kean Sr., a popular Governor of New Jersey in the 80's. Kean has worked as a special assistant at the EPA in the George W. Bush administration and is currently serving on the Judiciary Committee of the NJ State Senate. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and resides in Westfield, New Jersey with his wife two daughters.

Bob Menendez

Bob Menendez was born in New York City and grew up in Union City, NJ. Menendez was elected mayor of Union City in 1986 and served as mayor until 1992. While mayor, he simultaneously served in the New Jersey State Legislature, a common practice for New Jersey politicians. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1992 and has served in the U.S. Senate since he was appointed to Corzine's vacant seat in January of 2006, when Corzine resigned to become Governor.
