Joseph Lieberman

Joseph Lieberman is in his third term as a U.S. Senator from Connecticut. He was first elected as Senator in 1988 as a Democrat, but he is now campaigning as the “Connecticut for Lieberman” party candidate after losing the Democratic primary election to Ned Lamont. He gained a national profile when he became the Democratic nominee for Vice-president in 2000. Senator Lieberman served as Connecticut's Attorney General before going to the US Senate. He was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1942.

Alan Schlesinger was born and raised in Connecticut. He graduated University of Connecticut School or law. Schlesinger served as the mayor of Derby, CT for two terms, and served six terms as a State Representative.
