How do you practice?
Brian, this is the first time you've encountered how a carillon is played?! Odd.
I went to Alfred University which is known for it's carillon and I loved the sound of it as I walked around campus. Question: is there a delay between the "bashing" of your fist on the keyboard and the actual sound of the bell?
I am an out of practice carilloneur, thank you for this story. Could you ask Michael more about the music he plays? I modify traditional church music. This is a great instrument for a shy musician.
Oh god you brought up Quasimodo!
This guy gets 100% support, Bravo!
The UAlbany carillon was just restored. As far as I know, it is an authentic carillon, not electronic.
