A little off topic, but Tris McCall of Jersey City put together a great little ode about Menendez:

His explanation of the tune, with his typical wit and lore or North NJ politics, is here:

Enjoy!
It's nice to hear someone talking rationally about immigration.
What is wrong with these advocates for illegal immigrants in that they consistently twist the reality of immigration. Most Americans are fine with immigrants, the problem is solely with ILLEGALS, and that's not zenophobic.
He's absolutely right about Latinos in the military. So many of my fellow soldiers were from Mexico and S.A.
It's always helpful to hear the point of view of representative of the pharmaceutical industry.
On the main topic: after listening to Rep. Menendez I have looked through the Constitution and I can't find the part where it specifies that the decennial enumeration (census) count everyone in the country, as he asserted. While I am sympathetic with his desire to count everyone appropriately, I don't think he does his cause any good by misrepresenting the basic document.
The reality of immigration is that it is mostly good for America. The anti-immigration people shout about the ILLEGALS, but the truth is that they are good for the country too. In fact, that was what the Senator was talking about. When you realize that the truth is that illegal immigration is beneficial to America, then you realize that the arguments against it are xenophobic, and generally racist too. After all, they are almost entirely based on lies and innuendos.
Richard Johnson, you must not have looked very hard. I just googled and found this on the first link...

@mike - it's "good" for america because it's a form of slavery. I don't think slavery is good.
