(The City Reliquary)
Paul Lukas and Kirsten Hively discuss the mysterious Candela Structures in Queens, originally built as exhibit spaces for the World's Fair, neglected for many years, and now part of the area surrounding the new Shea stadium.
Exhibit: The Candela Structures: A New York City History Mystery will remain on view at the City Reliquary through June 28th.

THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL STRUCTURES. IF YOU ARE GOING FOR A CRUISE DURING THE SUMMER. YOU CAN HANG WITH YOUR FRIENDS UNDER THEM. THEY ARE COOL DURING THE SUMMER. I AM GLAD FOR THE EXIBIT I WILL BE THERE.
"Cut to the Chase" on the name of the stadium? I didn't think Chase was involved....
Small note: There's no "new" Shea Stadium... People just can't get out of the habit, I guess.
(common sense)
SERIOUSLY THOUGH THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL STRUCTURES
