Taking all the London city busses off inexpensive Venezuelan oil was definitely a smart move on Boris' part. Impressive forethought there; certainly fighting the smart fight...

    Yeah baby,

Realistic is not outsourcing the jobs to other countries and not flooding our market with these H1B visas.

Keep jobs in America, not just invest in education, we need to have our manufacturing jobs.

Not everyone is college material, we need vocational schools and it needs to be where one can finish high school and make a living wage on that and have a life with health care, decent food, education, own a house and mortgage.

Teddy Roosevelt called it a living wage.

Just like to say how much I admire the deputy mayor's inane optimism - exactly what we need in times like these. :p

I can't believe you called NYC the cultural center of the world!! What arrogance. Explain Paris, Rome, London, Berlin. Wow!

Seriously lacking in substance! Where were the details? An inability to quote the current unemployment rate for the city from a deputy mayor?

Sadly, Mr Clement's interview typifies the vacuous populism of Mr Boris Johnson's tenure as London Mayor, completely lacking the courage and vision for London of his predecessor (whether you agreed with Mr Livingstone's actions or not).
