  Brian, to have Scott Garrett on the air and not ask him to condemn the radical extremist movement known as "Christian" Dominionism is irresponsible.

  Garrett is a stealth candidate/congressman with a hidden agenda and needs to be called out on that.

  If you can get Garrett to publicly condemn the Dominionist movement as anti-American and un-Constitutional, then that would be news.

  The question that you utterly failed to address in your discussion of why the Republican party is in trouble is the extent to which they have been taken over by the most extreme elements of right wing fundamentalists.

  Now THAT would have been great radio and, more mportantly, good investigative/inquisitive journalism that would have provided a service to the broader body politic.

  If you're looking for local folks who (correctly imho) voted against the bailout; I suggest you also have Congressman Steve Rothman on the air. Now THAT would be "fair and balanced". :-)

  I am but a poor expat born in the early 50's who served in the Nam, ultimately feeling more at home among my Latin American ancestors than my modern USA bethren.

  All I have to say is that the Republicans are idiots (note: I voted for RM Nixon and G.Bush Senior).

  If you leave a kid in candy store, who can blame him for gorging? and when his tummy aches, who is to blame? The idiots who left him unattended in the first place...

  The idiots of the American right deserve no less than a 100 years of Democrats in the Presidency until they grow up and smell the coffee.

  Here in Banana country, the "elected" governments are a sham and fair no better in my opinion, but at least they have some measure of dignity. When the number one democracy in the world fails at setting the example for the rest of us, well, Gentlemen, it is time to pack up and head for the hills, everyman for himself.
