  If the guest is running for Congress, representing Connecticut, what have they done to help the low income housing situation in his back yard, namely Bridgeport and Danbury? His nonprofit, as stated, worked in New York City. It seems to me that this is typical of the Fairfield County resident, pretending they are part of New York when there are real, pressing concerns in working class Connecticut where I grew up!   Brian,

  I find it offensive that a well-informed and read person like you peddling the extreme right wings talking points that our financial problems are cause by the government pushing sub-prime loans to poor people. That is COMPLETELY FALSE!!

  Most of these 'sub-prime' mortgages were peddled to middle class people in a bubble market without any oversight as they were trying to get more mortgages to 'securitize' and peddle to investors because that is where the money was.

  Most of the minorities/poor people who went into home ownership (over 95%) are paying their mortgages.

  Where does this equate to Trillion of Dollars of made up 'assets'?
