  Could this Republican monkey wrench thrown into the negotioations be a sort of Rovian tactic where McCain can come in and appear the Partisan Hero who solves the crisis (while Obama goes to Mississippi to debate himself), even though he threw the monkey wrench in to begin with?

  What a pleasure it is to hear Z's take on things. His mark on history is profound, yet profoundly underestimated.

  Carter's administration is the only one to achieve a lasting peace in the Middle East- the Camp David Accord of 1979 brought Menachem Begin of Israel and Anwar Sadat of Egypt together and won them the Nobel Peace prize- that legacy of peace endures today, something no other American administration can lay claim to.

  Z also aided Pres. Carter in implementing the only 4 years of American foreign policy holistically based on the principle of human rights FIRST!! The Carter Admin. refused to back dictators whose only means of suport was American cash & influence, so he saw to the downfall of Somoza in Nicaragua, Marcos in the Phillipines, and the Shah of Iran. Problem is, you can't rule an exploitative empire like this and really hope to just be a nice guy. Their countrymen revile them for their humanity.

  Hey folks, Brian from Manhattan here. I was the caller who asked Brzezinski about our funding the Mujahadeen, and more importantly, his involvement with the Bilderberg group. As you could tell from his response, he did not want to talk about Bilderberg. Probably because it's a private meeting with over 100 of the world's wealthiest and most powerful individuals, in areas of govt, banking, and media, meeting once a year behind closed doors with no press coverage allowed. Internal sources within Bilderberg have revealed that they are indeed deciding policy with no oversight, and Brzezinski is a part of it.

  If you are a member of those societies of Bilderberg, Iluminati, Skull and Bones, it is supposed to be secret.

  The members are not supposed to discuss their membership or the group with outsiders. Discretion is a one of the requirements to be a member of those groups in addition to wealth, position and privilege.

  I think more discretion in life in general is a good thing. Not putting your business on the street so I don't blame the guest for not discussing his membership. Why should he?
