Marriage is nothing but the end of tranquility and the beginning of quarrels...

u were in the wrong marriage, if ur talking from personal experience.
I thought that the whole political thing about marriage was about legitimizing the children's rights to the father's property?? and weddings were just about making such a union publicly legal [which is why whole villages were in attendance]; and the husband was then obligated to acknowledge any of his future children.
