  Outside of the circle of officialdom and its apologists and facilitators (i.e., media), Condoleeza Rice is recognized as a war criminal.

  Why would the Russians take seriously anything she says in light of US actions in Iraq or US support for Israeli crimes similar to or worse than those of the Russians?

  Why should Russia listen to the US?

  The US attacked Iraq without cause and removed Sadam.

  Why can't Russia do the same in Georgia?

  The US doesn't have a leg to stand on.

  We just have to watch and hope for the best.

  The world is lucky Georgia did not join NATO or we'd be in a World War.

  Any fair minded person, can also understand, that when bombs are falling on your home and your loved ones are being slaughtered in front of your eyes,

  So let me get this straight the US now can attack at will any dictatorship we wish to.

  Neither of your guests have yet noted that the US is acting much as it used to.

  In particular, Russia is acting as it did continuously since World War 2, in particular acting to avoid being entirely surrounded by US allies. And the US has acted as it did in the Cold War, namely to surround Russia by American allies.

  Few are mentioning the US support for the Georgia regime, which certainly has not treated its minority populations well.
