Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Do you eat al desko? Did you know that it's killing your creativity? Free time to just think is invaluable. David Levy, professor at the Information School at the University of Washington, and Tony Buzan, inventor of Mind Maps, explain how to carve out time and to utilize your creative mind.

How is it killing my creativity? I study quantum physics while I eat.

read Jill Bolte Taylor's My Stroke of Insight.

And I really don't like being linked to a sales website (Mind Maps)

More time on this subject. That was way too short.

  • [4] David Heston from Westchester County August 12, 2008 - 11:05AM

Ditto David Hume's comment. Waaay too short. Very interesting segment.

A painfully short segment for a fascinating subject. I wish the host asked had asked "explain how to carve out time and to utilize your creative mind" first, and not seconds before killing the piece.

Please invite the guests again and give this segment the time it deserves!

(and yes, the "Mind Maps" link really, really sucks.)
