Goodbye Joe

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

In a surprise announcement, Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno announced that he won't seek reelection. We get reaction from Wayne Barrett of the Village Voice, Karen DeWitt, Capitol Bureau Chief for New York State Public Radio, and Frank Padavan, NY State Senator (R-11th District).

you have to give a little grin to hear how "sad" this guy is to see joe bruno go.

even if you are totally right wing....how is joe bruno sympathetic as an individual? he always came off as angry and nasty almost without exception.

Thank God he's going. I have no feelings for this man, he's been nothing but an obstructionist to all good for NYC. I wouldn't care if he was dying I'd say thank God to be rid of him no matter how that happened!! Now let's get more of his ilk (R) out of the majority!!
