what's that? oh it just john mccain rushing to the center! watch out!
fool me twice??
than shame on you!
Can you ask her about Israel's Nuclear arsenal? Jimmy Carter says they have like 150 nuclear weapons. What for??????????
tactical = offensive
strategic = defensive
I like how he wants to eliminate the weapons in Europe. Why not eliminate them in North America, or the Western Hemisphere for that matter?
Although this is McCain's appeal. He is tough, down-to-earth and all that good stuff that he was before 2000. Since that time, he has pandered and the Straight Talk Express became the Combobulated Double Speak Local.
Can you ask her about the bombing of Vieques, Puerto Rico during the Clinton years? Is there radioactive residue there?
Sandy
defense i would guess....?
To me, McCain's speaking on this issue yesterday is along the lines of "Rovean" politics. Obama has worked in the past to control nuclear weapons and materials and undoubtedly plans to highlight this work in the general election. This is McCain trying to take away one of Obama's foreign policy strengths.

FYI "the bombing of Vieques, Puerto Rico" went on for 55 years not just "durning the during the Clinton years".
The speaker is trying, but not well informed and wrong on several points, including verification rationales. Recommend Nautilus (.org), the Carnegie Endowment, and Joseph Cirincione's latest book, Bombscare, for a short and accurate read on nuclear issues. Figures on state holders are radily available.
What was that nuclear weapons blog page?
Steve #8,
It is more apt to say he is being Clinton-ian, not Rovian. After all, Clinton mastered the triangulation, neutralizing certain Republican issues like Welfare Reform.

guess that's what the people wanted...
