They killed their own poster boy. Of course, they needed to cover it up.

It is also disturbing because to me it portrays a military culture that is "shoot now, ask questions later." Easy for me to say from the safety of an office job, but I believe tons of innocent people are being killed because we just shoot and destroy and blow up buildings, etc.

Ms. Tillman, I am sorry for your loss and I applaud your bravery in your fearless search for the truth.

I have heard rumors that Pat Tillman may have been intentionally killed, that someone in command wanted him dead. Is this rumor completely unfounded?

    Question for Mary Tillman:

What has been the effect of the government's cover up on your family and the tradition of military pride in your family? How has this effected your view of the government and military?

Ditto Chris O. The fact that Tillman was shot in the forehead is what gives rise to this rumor.

    SOMETHING UPLIFTING

Waiting to cross 6th Ave on Sunday morning with 30,000 bikers riding by I watched a NYC police man cheering the bikers on "Good job!" "Pace yourself" "Looking good!" He was as happy as I've ever seen a cop being.

I commended on how happy he was and he told me how his usual job is investigating murders and doing follow up detail on 9/11. Working the bike-a-thon was pure joy for him.

I thanked him for his service and he blessed me and my family.

I sometimes worry that my "patriotism" doesn't seem to rise to the level of the lapel-flag wearers. And with good reason. I'm supposed to be patriotic about a country, half of which seem to follow rank idiots and flat-out liars like Bush, Cheney, Hannity and Limbaugh? Who's in this country anyway?

Then you hear about Tillman's life, from his family, friends, and fellow soldiers, and you think, "Wow. What an astounding human being."

The exact cause of his death is relatively unimportant compared to the inspiring impact of how he lived his life--with intelligence, honor and integrity.

Makes you proud to be an American!

Love to Mary Tillman. Thank you for the segment.

What I find uplifting = the many dedicated people responding to crises and to ongoing needs. And people who are thinking 'out of the box' for the future. For example:

This link is incorrect. The former principal of the Arab-American school segment is in its place, and is listed twice here - once where it should be and here. The same mistake was made with the iTunes subscription. I came to the website to hear this segment but only got the 4 minute snippet from You Tube. Please correct the link. Thank you.
