Poets may be profound but they're not always prompt. We follow up on our poetry segments from Wednesday (part one and two) with a few listener poems that arrived too late to make it on the air.
Roland Legiardi-Laura's poems from Wednesday, April 30
Listener Don Deixel's poems
I heard an angel singing to me about you.
I close my eyes and see you.
You invade my every dream every night,
even though you are so far away and I haven't seen you in so long.
You have invaded my heart and mind.
you will always be the love of my heart.
As, I dream tonight, the angel will sing to me of you and the love I knew with you that was the purest thing in my life.
Forever and always.
