Spitzer Speaks

Wednesday, March 12, 2008

In anticipation of Eliot Spitzer's official resignation speech, Brian and WNYC political director Andrea Bernstein continue to get updates from Albany and analysis from WNYC reporter Arun Venugopal live at the Governors office. We are also joined by Ben Smith, a columnist and blogger for Politico.com, and John Fund, an editorial columnist for The Wall Street Journal.

    Hey Brian,

News is happening. Why are you NOT on vacation?

Don't know what your guest is talking about. Spitzer has had nothing but political crises since he became governor. He is a walking, talking disaster from day one.

His wife has no spine. She should have tossed him out of the governor's mansion window. She is setting a bad example by just standing there. I am very disappointed in her.

ok so now the "analysis" is going to be all about how his wife "looked"? Ugh

    oh ok, enjoy

guess i'm just not as judgemental

what did jesus say about throwing stones

but clearly she has a spine or she would not be walking around.

  • [10] Katie from Corona March 12, 2008 - 12:14PM

Jesus has nothing to do with politics or marriage or npr.

Religion is subjective and many do not believe in Jesus or hold his views as their own and one cannot impose a standard of a religion someone does not believe in on someone else.

I am Jewish and do not believe in Jesus.
