In an effort to protect this country from terrorist attacks the US government lead by Bush & Cheney turn their backs on what make this country worth fighting for.
Extraodinary rendition must stop. It is a clear technique to circumvent laws prohibiting torture.
Oddly we don't have a media that questions the criminal dealings of Cheney and Bush and the rest of the scum that are part of their "administration"--if you want to call it that. They just report off the wires and don't investigate nor question fully. They present "both sides" and call that "fair", lol, and that's what they leave us with. This, folks, is the Center, the Mediocre. It's the kind of thing that leads to the coming to power of folks like Hitlers, Cheneys and Bushes. We need a return to a media that has a spine.
Excellent question, Brian. Who else supports this!?
The Canadian citizen (Arar, I believe) was extraordinarily rendered from JFK airport to Jordan, I believe. He was on a stopover at JFK. So yes to the caller, someone was sent from American territory to be tortured in another country.
