Kudos to Eleanor for mixing it up with Buchanan every week on McLaughlin

    ab-

Why does anyone give Buchanan a spot? I'm not old enough to remember his presidential race well, but from what I've heard of his strategies and analyses, he's not all that with it.

if she doesn't mention ron paul and economics, i am just going to assume that npr is just like every other media outlet biased and not balanced.

Romney left MI 40 years ago...the fact that dem. primary is irrelevant helps Mcain as now many dems. and independents will vote for him instead of edwards, obama etc.

it was Ronna Romney who ran for office is MI about 10/12 years ago. she is related only by marriage....I predict a big Mccain win and the end of the Romney campaign. having lived there for many years (though not now), I don't think anyone cares that Romney happens to be from bloomfield hills.

Major discrepancies between the Diebold count and hand count:

    http://presscue.com/node/38034

    By Percentage

    Method Hillary Clinton Barack Obama

    Diebold Machines 53.23% 46.77%

    Hand Count 47.47% 52.53%

    By Votes

    Method Hillary Clinton Barack Obama

    Diebold Machines 82860 72807

    Hand Count 18898 20912

    By Number of Municipalities Won

    Method Hillary Clinton Barack Obama

    Diebold Machines 54 33

    Hand Count 43 77

About 81% of the votes will be "counted" by the Diebold machines.

Did anyone get the number to call to register as a republican or a democrat?

    Thanks!

    Re: Ron Paul

If I could say two things about Ron Paul:

    1. I think Ron Paul has gotten his fair share of coverage in all of the news I've seen/heard. Face it, the guy's on the fringe, and the reason he's not coming close to winning is because people, in the end, don't agree with him. It's not from some incredible bias in the news.

    2. Ron Paul's supporters were quite irritating during CNN's coverage of the New Hampshire election when they stood around Anderson Cooper and actually tried to chant--very loudly--while he was trying to deliver the newscast. I don't know if Cooper was annoyed, but I was.

Look, I know Ron Paul's running. In fact, I agree with him on some things, esp. the war in Iraq, but you won't have chance in h*** of persuading people to your side when you act like a bunch of children.

(Yes, I realize other candidates's supporters have their faults, but Ron Paul's crowd really needs to settle down.)

    NEW OBAMA

    You're likable enough, Barack,

    Although there's been a change:

You're now ungracious and you're strident--

    Broadening your range?
