FINALLY WNYC is discussing some of Bruno's corruption and misuse of taxpayer's monies - But Brian Lehrer continues to minimize Bruno's corruption.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH: Has Bruno threatened Lehrer or put out a hit against WNYC Executives and this is why they are reluctant to even mention him and tag Spitzer with the 'hineous' crime of looking at Bruno's abuses?

i despise joe bruno and am a freat admirer of barrett's, but barrett just said something that isn't technically true.

bruno didn't announce that he was under federal investigation until after the election in november, depriving his constituents the opportunity to judge that piece of info before they cast their ballots. but, the senators who voted him majority leader were fully aware of the story by the time they elected him again, even giving him a standing ovation after the vote. his fellow republican state senators knew he was under investigation, as did everyone else by that time, and they voted him again. the only republican state senator who did not vote for him was joe bonacic and he was heavily criticized for it by his fellow republican senators.

the Governor's MAIN PRIORITY was reforming Campaign financing in order to reduce corruption - Troopergate is a red Herring because your guest and Bruno DO NOT Want to go there!> HOW ABOUT CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM!?
