  Is debating the health vs. political split of this issue just a distraction, instead of cracking the economic problem?

  I know when I got my boots on and headed downtown that morning I was sure that beyond doing the right thing: if I didn't die, the City would make sure I was set for life, financially. I didn't get to help, but hundreds of others did, and ya can't tell me that they didn't think the same thing.

  So, if the City covers the health costs of everyone who worked in the pit wouldn't that bankrupt the City? And if that's the case, Bloomberg would have to fight paying even one worker no matter how much he wanted to help all the sick workers.

  Aren't these people covered by workmen's comp? I'm sure they are.

  So, if hurt on the job, they get Comp.

  Fireman work for the City, then they ought to get only comp, unless another legal contract exists.

  The only time one gets big money in a lawsuit is if you are a female, showing off your body parts by using specialeffects such as uplift bras, girdles, tight clothing to expose ypur as-sets, and legs, painting your face, dying your hair, to attract men's attention and arousal.

  then, sue because you calim you were touched.

  Then, maybe you become a millionaire!
