You mean all the yupsters and hipsters will go to Berlin now? Yay!

What the....?!? When did WNYC become a part of the Berlin Tourist Board? Enough with it! No doubt Berlin is just fabulous for the jet set wealthy and trust-fund "artists" but I suspect that New York residents who have to work for a living (and wouldn't be able to do so in Europe) don't give a rat's you-know-what about Berlin. How about you go back to serving the NYC community?

Is Berlin beginning to become a more integrated city like London or is it still pretty homogeneous?

what do all these wonderful new yorkers do for a living in berlin. are they all self indulgent self absorbed professional bloggers? also, who cares?

Man, a lot of hostility here about discussing Berlin! What's the deal?! Berlin is nice, I've spent a lot of time there staying with friends I've made. Maybe some of the complainers should stop whining about the jet-setting yupsters and make a friend or two in another country so they can see for themselves that New York is not all the only place in the world.

what's really nice about berlin is that people aren't talking about real estate all the time.

artists pocess the city without owning it through processes that are much more compelling than real estate envy...
