Forget about State of New York City. Go for Republic of New York City.
Concurrence with Mr. Breslin: fyi: Louisiana was a blue state - you get what you pay for! Let them pull themselves up by their own bootstraps, ala the regular Republican refrain instead of now after the fact being subsidized by big government spending!
Correction: I meant La. was a red state.
