  Ron Paul will not win the Republican nomination; however, he has proven to have a very loyal base that can raise money. What is the possibility of Paul swaying the Presidential race if he were to run as a third-party, Libertarian candidate?

  Could this induce Bloomberg to run (especially if Clinton gets the nomination), hoping to capitalize on fractured Republican/Democrat bases?

  wow. the worst partisan in American history was also our greatest President: FDR.

  Dems need to stand up and have a backbone. There is a strong majority for a sane government with higher taxes on the rich and a strengthened public sector. including health care.

  the restraint on spending needs to happen on the military end!

  soc. security and medicare are in great shape. brownstein is spreading lies. as has been documented at length by FAIR.

  Pat Robertson agreed with Falwell's disgusting comments about 9/11. Why does the media not treat Giuliani's acceptance of Robertson's endorsement as the cynical political maneuvering that it is, and as completely hypocritical for someone who has built his whole campaign around the tragedy of 9/11? Why would "America's Mayor" embrace someone who blamed the victims of 9/11 for their own murder???? And why does the media continue to show it's EXTREME and OBVIOUS bias by not calling Giuliani exactly what he is; just another political hack who will do anything to win devoid of any core beliefs??? If it were Hillary or any other Dem, they would have been lynched by the media by now

  It's a farce to have a conversation on extreme partisanship without mentioning the role of the media in pushing the definition of what is "centrist" to the right. As one example: how are not wanting to invade Iraq and starting the war in Iraq and supporting it, with all it's disastrous consequences, equivalent "extreme" views?
