He negoitated this plan & he's proud of it???!!! Another moron wingnut.
The 'Real ID' program, mandated by federal law, contains RFID chips. Thats right. You, me, all of us will be carrying around RFID tracking devices with the Real ID program. Enjoy your servitude, slaves.
As I remember, my son got a Kansas driver's license in Times Square for a 2-digit fee, when he was underage. Don't all illegals do that?
A driver's license is a PRIVILEGE, not a right. If you're already breaking the law in terms of your immigration status, why should you be awarded w/ a license?????
Prosecuted drunk drivers illegally drive everyday. They have to go to work and get their kids to school. Should they also be able to get this special license to?
I'm sick of this debate. People that are here illegally you have right to get a State licence. In fact you have no right to be here at all. I heard someone say that these people should have a path to citizenship because they are hard workers that want to pay taxes and take part in the community. Well, join end of the line behind all the other hard workers wanting to come to this country. It is not fair to all those who try to come to this country legally. This senator obviously has a political agenda behind his motives.
Let me translate the guests last statement: "Now that I have been licking Mike Chertoffs boots, I might be allowed back into politics. This is a great opportunity for me to be a slave driver instead of a slave, and I'm going for it!"
Brian,
Why do you keep dismissing and trivializing the problem that Governor Spitzer has with the Republican (and Democratic legislature) by referring to SPITZER's PROBLEM with Trooper Gate and SPITZER ATTACKING Bruno. This is a total distortion that plays into the corrupt politicians in the State.
Please provide serious coverage on Spitzer's attempt to force the legislature to pass Campaign and anti corruption reform and the fact that Republicans are changing the subject from corruption in Albany to attacks against as 'submissive, defenseless' Bruno who uses public resources for campaigning. Why is it a horrible attack on the part of Spitzer's administration to make public Bruno's use of taxpayer resources for campaigning. Remember that Bruno is under a federal criminal investigation.
This is an opportunity to clean up Albany and instead you are following the lead of the NY Post and the Monied elite on Wall St. who want to get back at Spitzer and do not want anything done against corruption
Amen JB, Steve!! Immigration is fine, ILLEGAL border crossers or visa over-stayers are not at all fine.
