    Ted come back to Nightline.

It's just not the same without you.

    In fact it stinks.

How much do illegal aliens contribute to prison overcrowding? Would deportation of illegal aliens and stopping the inflow of more of them help to reduce prison overcrowding?

While you note on the show that the United States has a higher percentage of criminals per capita relative especially developing countries, does this not reflect a strong rule of law in America (especially compared to China and India where corruption is widespread)?

I would like to know how America compares to other developed countries (Europe, Canada, etc.) in such percentages.

great topic, however the prison problem goes way beyond 3 strikes and your out. The general mentality of punishing and not rehabilitating convicts as well as obviously the drug war are responsible for the whole mess.

more than half of prisoners are there for drug related offenses.

Why the complaining about the prison population? I'd rather have them stuffed to the rafters than out on the street. I'd prefer one strike and you're out. If we need bigger prisons and more correction officers, then fine.

Here's a simple way to stay out of jail--don't commit crimes!
