Taxi Strike

This morning thousands of taxi drivers in New York City began a two day strike. Biju Matthew of the Organizing Committee of the New York Taxi Workers Alliance, and Pete Donohue, transit reporter for The Daily News, assess the extent of the strike and how New Yorkers are coping.

Gay Couple Says I Do, Senator Craig Says I May Not!

Last Friday Sean Fritz, an Iowa State University student, married Tim McQuillan, making them Iowa's first gay married couple. The two were able to get married when a state judge deemed Iowa's state ban on gay marriage unconstitutional. A day later the judge declared a stay on his ruling.
