Is Mr. Edwards interested in once again running as a Vice Presidential candidate in the event he is not selected for the Dem presidential candidate (as the polls suggest)?

Can Ms. Edwards provide any insight into how campaigning for the Vice President candidate actually happens? It seems like a delicate balance because initially while running for President, the candidate first attempts to explain why s/he's better than the others, but then after not making it, s/he must then turn around and pursuade the successful presidential candidate why s/he would make a good running mate! I'd be interested in knowing how this process plays out practically. Thanks.

    this is just silly.

first of all the VP has to be from a different state then the president.

2nd why would mr edwards want that. she can advice him all he wants, why would they create that distraction.

Mrs. Edwards is a better presidential candidate than her husband because a) when she is aggressive she looks her opponent in the eye - as opposed to Mr.Edwards who looked childish at the AFL-CIO when he wouldn't look at Clinton, and b) John stutters when he gets an unscripted question that he hasn't prepared for - Elizabeth doesn't stutter and doesn't miss step.

I take that back. I guess she does stutter too.

Also, where were the tough questions? Failure of the mortage industry and Edwards working for a hedge fund? What's John Edwards experience and qualifications for his stance on foreign relations and Iraq?

Why must we be subjected to monthly visits by serial hypocrites! The Edwards campaign has set a new record for contradictory statements. I guess as lawyers they are used to lying without shame! Ms. Eddings is a terrible interviewer. She never challenged Ms. Edwards answers and allowed no callers to question the guest!

Elizabeth Edwards is right. The Iraqi government is not doing the heavy lifting to talk with their political peers make compromises and peace and dole out mutual forgiveness. Maliki is not anything like Nelson Mandela.

The only signs of real success would be political settlements among the warring parties in Iraq.
