  • [17] Trevor from LIC August 21, 2007 - 11:50AM

    or...

The Bronx-- The Only City with 26 Championships

  • [18] Robert from NYC August 21, 2007 - 11:51AM

Well maybe if Bronxites (I was born and raised there) had any idea of their history they'd not only be more proud of the borough but they'd be able to come up with a really cool slogan. Kingsbridge Road and Boston / Boston Post Road are among many places that took part in the Revolutionary War and played an important part. Morris High School is named after the Gouvernour Morris who penned the US Constitution and is buried in a church in the south Bronx on 138th Street (St. Anne's Church) and Morris was the first co-ed high school in the city. The Broncks family is the name of the original land owners there. It was once the place one went to hospitals for Tuberculosis cures. And on and on and on. So "The Bronx Come See and Join Us." Pelham Park is the largest park in the entire city.

  • [19] Smooth Johhny S from Yo, Jersey! August 21, 2007 - 11:52AM

The Bronx: Are You Here on Purpose?

  • [20] Miss from Midtown August 21, 2007 - 11:53AM

  • [21] Smooth Johhny S from Yo, Jersey! August 21, 2007 - 11:55AM

The Bronx: Hey, It's Not Newark!

  • [22] Chad Harris from Bronx August 21, 2007 - 11:57AM

Bronx - Welcome to the Top of the World.

  • [23] David from Brooklyn August 21, 2007 - 11:57AM

The Bronx might as well capitalize on its rough past and identity in much of the world's psyche. It's what makes it special and interesting.

"The Bronx is Burning... With Excitement!"

"The Bronx: Have you asked for your way lately?"

  • [24] morarji mejia August 21, 2007 - 11:59AM

The Bronx you will love it all

  • [25] eric fluger from jersey city August 21, 2007 - 11:59AM

liked "the bronx: cheer!" but it might be even more fun to just make the slogan "cheer!" and let the reader fill in the rest. :-)

  • [26] marc greenberg from yonkers August 21, 2007 - 12:01PM

The Bronx - we've got it all!

  • [27] Israel Martinez from Woodside, Queens August 21, 2007 - 12:02PM

I was born and raised in the Bronx (Parkchester). I heard and read many fine slogans. Mine is "Welcome to the Mainland!" I also liked The Borough of Parks.

The Bronx... it is the bomb:)
