The Bronx, it's "Da Bomb."
the bronx - at least we're not commmunting to westchester
"The Bronx: The New Frontier"
or
"The Bronx: Your Friendly Neighbor to the North"
The Bronx is Better
Why?
It refererences our recent past and lets people know we are better than the rest!
The Bronx- It's no longer burning!
"Yes, the Bronx"? Pathetic....
There can be only one slogan:
Boogeydown Bronx
The Bronx: On Top of the City.
Hi Errol,
As a lifelong Manhattanite (when not overseas) I can only think of Ogden Nash's famous slogan ...
"The Bronx?
No thonx ..."
It should say. Boogiedown you're in the Bronx.
"Yes-the Bronx" says to me....such an uninteresting borough that we can't think of anything to say!
and yes, I live in the Bronx
The Bronx-not a Starbuck's in sight
how about "tops in the bronx!" to hark back to this crazy eddy kinda of radio commercial that used to play in the 70's...
Bronx - the non-island borough
Bronx - attached to the mainland
"THE BRONXOXO"
as in, hugs and kisses...
da bronx fort apache not anymore
"The Bronx: Why Not?"
"The Bronx: That Other Borough"
i'm sure i like the whole idea, but if there must be hype i'll second the motion for "the bronx is up!"
or...
The Bronx-- The Only City with 26 Championships
Well maybe if Bronxites (I was born and raised there) had any idea of their history they'd not only be more proud of the borough but they'd be able to come up with a really cool slogan. Kingsbridge Road and Boston / Boston Post Road are among many places that took part in the Revolutionary War and played an important part. Morris High School is named after the Gouvernour Morris who penned the US Constitution and is buried in a church in the south Bronx on 138th Street (St. Anne's Church) and Morris was the first co-ed high school in the city. The Broncks family is the name of the original land owners there. It was once the place one went to hospitals for Tuberculosis cures. And on and on and on. So "The Bronx Come See and Join Us." Pelham Park is the largest park in the entire city.
The Bronx: Are You Here on Purpose?
the bronx: where the zoo at
The Bronx: Hey, It's Not Newark!
Bronx - Welcome to the Top of the World.
The Bronx might as well capitalize on its rough past and identity in much of the world's psyche. It's what makes it special and interesting.
"The Bronx is Burning... With Excitement!"
"The Bronx: Have you asked for your way lately?"
The Bronx you will love it all
liked "the bronx: cheer!" but it might be even more fun to just make the slogan "cheer!" and let the reader fill in the rest. :-)
The Bronx - we've got it all!
I was born and raised in the Bronx (Parkchester). I heard and read many fine slogans. Mine is "Welcome to the Mainland!" I also liked The Borough of Parks.
The Bronx: Stay Where You Are!
Welcome to the Mainland!
or (my second suggestion)
The Bronx - we are family.
THE BRONX: IT AIN'T BURNING, BUT IT'S STILL HOT!!
To correct my cousin David's grammar,
The Bronx... it is the bomb:)
The Brian Lehrer show is great. It has been a staple of my listening for many years.
Keep up the good work.
<< The Bronx ?
