The orb is stupid, I would rather be able to get my info the old fashioned way, text message. Just what I need another dust catcher. I do not understand why the water company put a data line into my house to collect my water usage, but I am unable to access it.
I agree this is a dumb invention that will lead to well-deserved ridicule from Republicans. "Did you hippies get your glowing orbs from the nature company while listening to new-age music." And how many resources are going to be used just to make these orbs? If only there was a way to efficiently get a description of your energy usage every month, perhaps tied to some monetary incentive...
