Tavis Smiley, host of The Tavis Smiley Show, which airs Fridays at 9PM and Saturdays and Sundays at 2PM on AM 820, and editor of The Covenant with Black America, previews the first of two "All-American Presidential Forums on PBS," this one with the Democratic candidates.

    Wow, did Tavis Smiley just dismiss Media Matters because David Brock used to be a conservative? "Consider the source?!" That was the sloppiest ad hominem response to a legitimate concern I've heard in a long time. I am deeply unimpressed with Mr. Smiley.

    piminnowcheez beats me to it. After the smear, Mr Smiley offered no substantial reply only saying that PBS had posted a reply and that Brock's "facts are wrong." Actually, Brock quotes PBS on Luntz's role and then lists some points of interest in Luntz's public record. Read for yourself:
