Wow, did Tavis Smiley just dismiss Media Matters because David Brock used to be a conservative? "Consider the source?!" That was the sloppiest ad hominem response to a legitimate concern I've heard in a long time. I am deeply unimpressed with Mr. Smiley.
piminnowcheez beats me to it. After the smear, Mr Smiley offered no substantial reply only saying that PBS had posted a reply and that Brock's "facts are wrong." Actually, Brock quotes PBS on Luntz's role and then lists some points of interest in Luntz's public record. Read for yourself:
