I was in NY on 9/11, in Brooklyn and watched the 2nd tower collapse; was this in the 'effected' area? Was someone in NJ in the area?
Senator Clinton's attempt to woo the South Asian American community is undercut, in my opinion, by the disrespectful comment she made last year about referring to gas station attendants as "Gandhi" (I don't remember her exact words; perhaps your guest could refresh our memories).
I think it must be emphasized that this whole conversation is more about administrative oversight and has NOTHING to do with Barak's personal views. Does this mean if one of his junior staffers is caught doing something inappropriate that is wholly unrelated to his campaign, will Barak also be "responsible" for that?
Another case of over-reacting and over-interpreting. The junior staffer is probabily
many times removed from the presidential candidate, Obama stated that he was not aware of the memo's content and I see no reason to doubt that.
Why do things like this get written on any level of a campaign staff. Shouldn't they be doing important meaningful work?
It would be nice for country if candidates concentrate on issues what US is facing now rather than attacking persons each other.

You are what you eat. The blowback caused by the action of this staff member may be part of the ongoing collateral dammage caused by too many otherwise "smart" people listening to too many years of "Imus in the Morning" and similar non-pc entertainers. Too much ethnicity based sarcasm for one's own good.
