Pete Earley, former Washington Post reporter and the author of the Pulitzer-prize finalist Crazy: A Father's Search Through America's Mental Health Madness (Putnam, 2006) and Alan I. Glass, the director of Student Health Services at Washington University in St.Louis and Donna Satow, the co-founder of The Jed Foundation that works to prevent suicide and promote mental health among college students, weigh in on some of the issues surrounding how colleges handle mental health issues and when intervention is advisable and legal.
