Regarding Hillary Clinton's claim of a "lifetime of experience"--WHAT experience? Eight years as the wife of a chief executive hardly counts as executive experience. Take that away, and her experience is the same as Obama's--a career in law and a short stint in Legislative government.

The most important thing for American artists and musicians is funding directly to the artists, not to arts organizations. I'm astonished that helping foreign artists get visas was the only arts support mentioned by your guests. Allowing more foreign artists into the country is not relevant to supporting American artists! There is of course nothing wrong with easing the Bush administration's visa tortures for foreign artists, but in no way does that support the arts in this country. It is a disaster now for classical musicians like myself, for example.
